I was born and raised in Kentucky. I met my husband in high school and we married in 2015. Together we have three daughters, one son, and a pup. I attended Western Kentucky University where I earned my Bachelors of Science in Family and Consumer Sciences as well as my In Home Visiting Certification. Growing up I always found a passion in working with people and going into college I found myself majoring in nursing however I ended up switching majors so that I could more fully focus on my newfound passion of working with families wanting to adopt as well as birth families who are seeking adoption.

As a mother of four I had very different birth and postpartum experiences. Unexpectedly I birthed my second daughter on my own. After this empowering event I found the strength inside myself to embrace and explore more about pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. With personal experience in lactation support, baby wearing, and cloth diapering I began immersing myself into the work of doulas. During this season I began to understand my calling to this work and my passion for encouraging, supporting, and advocating for women throughout their birth and postpartum journey.
