If you have your heart set on a specific birth plan, she will be your biggest advocate, especially if you're having a hard time voicing for yourself. She respected our birth plan and made sure we were able to have everyone on our team make it happen. My birthing experience was amazing, because she was there! She not only helped me, but also coached my husband in ways to help me. She provided so much support for me. Physical, emotional, and informational support all throughout my pregnancy, birthing, and postpartum. Choosing Lauren to be our doula was one of our best decisions we made during this pregnancy. She helped create our birth preferences and shared information on some of the topics we were uncertain of. She taught my husband some ways he could help alleviate my pains during contractions, showed me different positions or movements that cold help, and those are what made all the difference. Active labor and transition went way quicker than I could have ever imagined, and Lauren literally ran through the hospital at 1 AM to ensure she would be there for us. It was thanks to her and her support that I remained so calm and confident while pushing. Her support postpartum was much appreciated as well. She was always a text or call away and responded promptly. I highly recommend Lauren to anyone considering a doula!
